Advisory & Consulting
I work with founders, CEOs, and marketing leaders to cut through the noise — and focus on the few things that will actually move the business forward.
What I do
Identifying the right levers and building the plan to pull them — across acquisition, retention, channel mix, and positioning.
Shaping how a product reaches its market — from pricing and messaging to launch sequencing and early performance architecture.
Turning data overload into clear signals. Building the infrastructure and habits that let leadership teams act with confidence.
Building or reshaping teams, tools, and processes — so the function can execute efficiently as the business scales.
How I work
I work with a small number of companies at a time. The engagements that work best are ones where clear thinking and real momentum matter. My perspective comes from nearly two decades on both sides of the table: as a CMO building inside high-growth companies, and as a senior agency leader advising from the outside.
Aaron Wollner
I started my career in marketing agencies — Publicis and Hearst — working with large, sophisticated organizations on growth, analytics, and brand. The clients were demanding and the problems were complex. It taught me how to bring rigor and clarity to environments full of competing priorities and too much data.
I eventually moved inside, taking on executive roles at a series of fintech and financial services companies. The most recent was Quontic, where I served as Chief Marketing Officer for five years. I built the marketing organization from the ground up, grew the customer base roughly 11x, launched new products and acquisition channels, and built the analytics infrastructure that made all of it legible to the business.
I've since been doing work I find genuinely interesting: advising early-stage founders and leadership teams on growth and go-to-market, and building independently. My Design Blueprint — a consumer product I designed, built, and launched — is one example of the latter.
I work with a limited number of companies at any given time. The engagements I take on tend to be ones where clarity and momentum matter as much as the process of getting there.
